Wednesday December first marked the first day of the last month of 2010 and marked the first episode of Top Chef All Stars. When it was announced they would have season eight be a cast of our favorites from the past seven seasons I was beyond ecstatic. Who wouldn't want to hear Hootie Hoo! for another 18 weeks or watch Richard make his banana scallop ice cream with liquid nitrogen? Although I agreed with some of the choices, I was confused with some. Like why does Chicago get four members while season 6 (in my opinion the best season) only has two? Regardless, these eighteen cast members will bring visual pleasure to all that watch ; and since they know the ropes of the show and in many cases already have relationships and rivalries with each other, the egos will be at an all time high.

Here is a run down of the Cheftestansts

Tiffani F- Season 1. Fun to watch the first season, highly talented, a pioneer of the show

Stephen A- Season 1. Great dresser, knows his wine. Time will tell if he's great with food

Marcel- Season 2. Love to hate him. Hopefully he will not make a salad for the finals again.

Elia-Season 2. Stays true to herself but rubs people the wrong way. Glad she has hair again

Tre- Season 3. Left before his time. This is true redemption for him

Dale L.- Season 3. Great competitor and brings an entertainment value. Runner up no more

Casey- Season 3. Favorite early female competitor. At least this season is at sea level

Antonia-Season 4. Pigeon Peas won't let her down. She is a force to be reckoned with

Dale T-Season 4. Anger management issues? yes. lets hope the passion comes out in his food

Spike-Season 4. Still rocks the hat. Hopefully still charismatic with out Andrew at his side

Richard-Season 4. Super Talented and out for blood. No choking this season.

Jamie-Season 5. Team Rainbow! Knows now not to over salt Eric Ripert's recipe.

Fabio- Season 5. Favorite of any season, Team Europe member is ready to make it to the finals

Carla- Season 5. Oldest competitor but young in spirit. She will Hootie to the finish

Jenn- Season 6. Quiet but competitive, she will be a force in the kitchen

Mike I- Season 6. Without Robin who will he criticize? Forever known as second best Mike

Tiffany D- Season 7. Proud to be from Beaumont Texas and has a bigger than Texas spirit

Angelo- Season 7. The cockiest of the cockiest will meet his match. For sure will go far.

There you have it. All 18 cheftestants laid out. For those of you who have never seen an episode, start now. You won't have the background of who they are and why they act the way they do, but you will quickly pick your favorites ( i have mine) and become intrigued with what i believe to be the best competition show on prime time.
